CoQ10 in Australia: evidence and prices

TL;DR

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10, ubiquinone or ubiquinol) is an antioxidant made in the body. NIH NCCIH says the evidence suggests it probably doesn't have a meaningful effect on blood pressure, and that it may interact with warfarin and insulin.

What the research says

NIH NCCIH reviews research on CoQ10 for heart, blood pressure and other uses. [1]

Safety notes

CoQ10 may interact with the blood thinner warfarin and with insulin (NIH NCCIH). If you take either, ask your GP or pharmacist before using it. [1]
