Dose: for single nutrients enter the amount (e.g. 25 mg, 1000 IU). For combination products (multivitamin, ZMA, etc.) enter the number of servings; we estimate the nutrient amounts.

Note: upper limits shown are adult Australian/NZ Nutrient Reference Values (NHMRC, eatforhealth.gov.au). Where no Australian/NZ limit exists, any US value is labelled as such.

FAQ

Is this medical advice?

No. It provides general information only and cannot diagnose or recommend treatment. Talk to your GP or pharmacist before changing supplements or medicines.

Do you store what I enter?

No. The check runs entirely in your browser. Your stack is not sent to any server. We count anonymous page and button events (e.g. a check was run) using Cloudflare. No stack contents, IPs or cookies.

If nothing is flagged, is my stack safe?

No. The checker covers 84 supplements and nutrients with cited rules, but many interactions are not included. No flag means "not in our database", not "safe".

Where do the rules come from?

Each rule cites a public source such as the NHMRC Nutrient Reference Values, NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, NIH NCCIH or the Australian Poisons Standard. See the full source list at biohackbrief.com/sources. Upper limits are adult Australian/NZ Nutrient Reference Values (NHMRC).
