Biohack Brief ("we") respects your privacy and aims to handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Your supplement stack is not collected

The Supplement Stack Checker runs entirely in your web browser. The supplements, doses and timings you enter are processed on your device only. They are not sent to us or any server, not stored (no database, cookies or local storage), and not captured by analytics. When you close or reload the page, they are gone. We therefore do not collect health information through the checker.

Newsletter signup (beehiiv)

If you choose to subscribe, you leave this site and sign up on beehiiv, our newsletter provider. Your email address is collected and handled by beehiiv under beehiiv's privacy policy and used by us to send the Biohack Brief. Your stack is not sent with your signup. beehiiv may store data outside Australia (APP 8). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Health information (stack reviews)

If you request a paid stack review, you may choose to send us details of your supplements, goals and (optionally) health conditions or medications. This is sensitive information under the Privacy Act 1988 and the APPs. We collect it only with your express consent, use it only to prepare your review, do not sell or share it for marketing, and keep it only as long as needed. The review intake page stores nothing; your details reach us only in the email you choose to send. To access, correct or delete your information, email [email protected].

Hosting

Like any website, our hosting provider may process standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs to deliver and secure the site. We do not use this to identify you or link it to anything you enter in the checker.

Access, correction and complaints

Under the APPs you can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or make a complaint. Contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Not medical advice

The checker provides general information only. It does not diagnose or recommend treatment. Speak to your GP or pharmacist.
